I have just been on the most amazing cruise on the Radiance of the Seas from Sydney, Australia to Honolulu, Hawaii, over 17 nights - departing on the 17th of April 2018. I cannot speak highly enough of everything about the cruise. 1. The staff were brilliant - they could not do enough to help in everyway possible. 2. The food in all restaurants was just amazing with the quality and choice being ...
We spent a couple of weeks exploring Auckland, NZ and New South Wales before boarding the ship in Sydney, Australia. The CC Roll Call Group met for a pre-cruise dinner in Sydney the night before embarkation. We stayed at the Amora Jamison Hotel, which was very nice and convenient for walking our suitcases to the ship, followed by a very easy embarkation. I should say that we had terrific ...
We sailed on RCCL’s Radiance of the Seas for 28 days from January 3 to 31, 2018. This was two 14-day back-to-back cruises that took us from Australia to New Caledonia, Fiji, Tonga, both islands of New Zealand, and back to Australia.
First let me say that the ship’s staff and managers worked very hard to please. Airline employees are experts at saying “no,” while RCCL’s employees try very hard ...
We were looking forward to a fun, party type atmosphere like we have had recently on Explorer, Rhapsody and Celebrity Solstice. Those ships had dancing almost every night to a really uptempo band playing great dance music and there was either a party in the public area or the nightclub was pumping.
This voyage had a largely young to youngish age group looking to have fun at night but the ...
Old but correct ship partially renovated. Service on board was a little bit to festive or let's say relax even if attendants where nice. No touch of class compare to other ships.
We had an excellent room attendant on our 10 th deck. We are not young people even if in good shape and we were travelling with our grand daughter that dreamed on this cruise and overall enjoyed. Stateroom for three ...
I went on the Bravo Cruise, to experience the musical entertainment program, including numerous renowned performers, all of whom were absolutely wonderful in every way.
I was able to go on this cruise because of the special reductions ofrered in the month prior to sailing. As a solo traveller, it became affordable. However, there were numerous disappointments and overall expectations of the ...
I’ve been on about 13 cruises most of them over five weeks long but, never having cruised with Royal Caribbean, I thought the special Bravo cruise on Radiance of the Seas would be an ideal cruise with which to start. However, I will not be cruising with Royal Caribbean again. There are far better cruise lines now operating.
1. On the website for this cruise was notice to book seats in the ...
What great cruise, this was my 4th Cruise n Groove and 40 cruises this was one of the best. Wonderful check in, got to my cabin in 20 minutes. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Ship is 16 years old but well maintained, refurbished 2011. This cruise I pre paid or the ultimate dinning and the unlimited drinks packages, well worth getting, great value.
The entertainment was what it ...
Overall this was a good Cruise. Some adjustments need to made by Royal Caribbean to enhance the Cruising of future patrons.
1. Bands were in the Centrum. This was somewhat disappointing, no area to Dance & not enough seating. Should have been in the Colony Club, where there was plenty of seating & a large dance floor. It remained empty on most nights.
2.The Dog House was a waste of space. ...
We flew from Newark NJ to Honolulu on United. We were in First Class and had the lie down flat seats. They were the most comfortable seats I have ever experienced! Crew was really nice!
Speedi Shuttle not a good company. They are rude, disorganized.
Hawaiian Hilton Village. We loved this hotel, and returned for our post cruise! Perfect location... but be prepared for high ...
