I chose this cruise for the itinerary. I wanted to go from Port Everglades to LA through the Panama Canal's historic locks. The Island Princess was the perfect size. We had very good experience on another Princess cruise, and wanted to take one through the Panama Canal. This one proved to be just as good. Food, stateroom, entertainment, and service were of high quality. As expected. We enjoyed the luxury and attention to detail. Communication was efficient.

Wow! The Princess staff were incredibly friendly, professional and upbeat. They were thrilled to be back onboard and it showed over the 14 night sailing. We chose the cruise for the locations and because we had sailed with Princess previously. We knew the cabins were comfortable and dining was excellent. There were plenty of shore excursions to choose from if that is what you are after, and plenty of activities to keep you busy on the ship. We chose to do some tours, but also enjoyed staying on the ship and relaxing by the pools.
