This cruise met our time and destination requirements. The Island Princess is just the right size to go thru the old locks of the Panama Canal. Having sailed on this ship in the past we knew it was one of the best in the Princess fleet.

The people we met on the ship were wonderful. The Crooners bar was the prime meeting place on the ship for a great many people. We certainly looked forward to going there each day.

If we had any complaint it would center around the food. The food in the main dining rooms was rather taste neutral. On a ship with 2200 passengers it is probably necessary to prepare food to meet the needs of the many. We did eat in the Bayou Grill three times and it was excellent. Both the meat and seafood exceeded our expectations.

Cabin Review

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Our cabin was large and had a large balcony. The tub and shower was amply large for my 6'4'' frame.
