Just to start, let me say I LOVE Princess cruises! This was our 6th cruise with them, and even tho this cruise had been out of commission for 2 yrs, u would swear they just did it yesterday....absolutely nothing went wrong, everything was perfect and our needs were anticipated and met...every....single.....time.......from check-in that took all of 10 mins, getting to our room, our luggage arriving quickly and unpacking and then off to eat! The food in Horizon's was still buffet style but there was someone at every turn to serve u (Thank u Stephan, Giovanni, Victor, and Allwyn).......hooked up to the internet in no time, made all the dinner reservations we needed thru the Medallion app on our phones...we ate 3 times at Bayou (Thanks Bogdan and Eduardo!), and 2 times at Sabatini's (Thanks, Ben!)....all perfection......the other times we ate in the main dining rooms, Provance (Thanks Warren!) or Bordeaux and on excursion days, Horizon's......the food was wonderful in all locations....no bad choices here! We spent several evenings in Wheelhouse Bar (Thank u Placid and Oliver!) and tried several different drinks...all recommended by our server......tell them the alcohol u want and they will come up with the perfect drink for u.......but the 24K Margaritas are out of this world! I have never had anything that tasted soooooooo good! I had those mostly. The excursions were done so well....seamless....flawless......we were not disappointed one bit.......it was very hot and humid, but the tour companies always made sure we were hydrated and some even included lunch. Our room steward (Thanks, Carlito!) was amazing! It was always a pleasure to see him twice a day...he made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed....twice a day! Who else in your life does that? And disembarkation was as perfect as everything else....10 mins and out!

Just a few parting words......the people who work on these ships are entitled to your respect and appreciation.....they spend many months away from their families (their choice, I know) sometimes as many as 10 months and they are there to make your cruise enjoyable.....TIP THEM WELL!!!!!! Not just the crew appreciation that is an automatic, but every time someone brings u a drink......give them a couple of bucks...every time room service comes to your room.....give them a couple of bucks....and then give your waiters, maitre d, room steward, tour operator and drivers.......everyone that helps u....give them SOMETHING....money is most preferred, but be nice as well......we saw a few people who felt they were entitled to everything above and beyond.......unappreciative and even rude. This kinda broke my heart because they are only here to make sure YOU have a good time......part with a couple of dollars and everyone will feel better...even u! :)
