Disappointing

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Caribbean Princess

We took this cruise because we wanted to see the Panama Canal. Which by the way was fantastic! BUT...... on the second day of our cruise we picked up 13 migrants off the coast of Cuba - which took approximately 3 hours. Our next stop was supposed to be Jamacia - well we had to pass on that because of the delay in picking up the migrants. THEN - no one told us you have to book an excursion to get ...

Reviews The Bad We booked a 10-day Princess Caribbean cruise from Fort Lauderdale last December 18th to the 28th, 2022. I hate to say that this was the most disappointing cruise experience that we had compared to the other cruise lines. Out of the ten days, we were on the ship for 7 days and just docked at the 3 ports (Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica) of our itineraries. The 2 most ...

Surprising Disappointment

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Island Princess

Being a long time Princess Cruise customer I was astonished by the relaxed attitude aboard the Island Princess. Rating it against other Princess cruises I have been on I would think each to be of the same energy. However, it soon became clear that the energy level of Island Princess was a bit below the other vessels I've been on. First to notice was the lack of presence of the cruise director. ...

Extremely disappointing

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Enchanted Princess

We have done 67 cruises with Princess now and this one must be considered the most disappointing. First and foremost we disliked the layout of the ship especially the Retreat area with its 3 foot deep adult pool which does not have a walk in step feature and the equally shallow wallowing Wave pool situated on Lido deck making it feel very crowded with all the tables and chairs and the Wake bar. ...

Platinum Level cruisers disappointed in Princess

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Sky Princess

I'll preface this review by saying that since 2003 my husband and I have taken most of our cruises on Princess and we have been at the Platinum level for awhile. This was my 19th cruise on 6 different lines and my husband's 14th on 4 lines. Since the end of the pandemic, we have wanted to resume cruising and selected the Sky Princess to try out one of the newer, larger ships. Never ...

Disappointing, sliding glass door shattered and they still have not sent our refundable OBC of $313!

We thought the itinerary would be a great summer escape from the heat and it was! Except for two hours it took to get onboard and the sliding glass door being shattered on our mini-suite balcony. They wrapped it in a heavy duty cling wrap and were able to move us the following day to a cabin down the hall. Evidently the guest in that cabin missed the boat since the ship was at capacity. The reason ...

Below average cruise

The Caribbean Princess needs to be remodeled or taken out of service. It is dated and subpar. The pools did not get cleaned with a filter (as standard on land) and by the 3rd day all pools were murky and had a sheen of body oil and sunscreen. The service was good with exceptional staff at the Wheelhouse Bar and Lotus Spa. The cruise was very short staffed but the crew that was present did a ...

This ship is filled to capacity & it’s clear they are under staffed. Tables are not cleared & reset in the buffet & outdoor eateries. Princess still serves a condensed, liquid coffee that is mixed with hot water, so basically it’s instant coffee. Fresh brewed is only available for purchase In Coffee & Cones or International Cafe. Every other cruise line (Celebrity, Holland America, Royal ...

So many good things, but far too many bad things

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Caribbean Princess

It's probably been about 20 years since I've taken a Princess Cruise, so I had a lot to review on this cruise. The first thing is that all Princess Cruises Ships now use the Medallion instead of a cabin key card and that process works well. As soon as you get close to your door, you can hear it unlock and it allows you easy entry. The Medallion Class app that is downloaded on your cell phone is a ...

This is our 10th cruise with Princess and for sure is the last one! The food quality and the variety is very very poor. The service also very poor. Much of the entertainment was like a High School talent show. Getting into the port, embarkation was excellent! Once on the ship everything was smooth. at dinner, it took 1 hour to get the dinner we ordered in the Palm Dining Room. ...
