This ship is filled to capacity & it’s clear they are under staffed. Tables are not cleared & reset in the buffet & outdoor eateries. Princess still serves a condensed, liquid coffee that is mixed with hot water, so basically it’s instant coffee. Fresh brewed is only available for purchase In Coffee & Cones or International Cafe. Every other cruise line (Celebrity, Holland America, Royal Caribbean, Viking, Uniworld) serves fresh brewed in all outlets. Promenade Deck is filthy with trash, bird droppings & people leave used glasses, plates around. It’s quite a turn-off because it’s a great walking deck since it goes all around the ship. People are smoking in non-smoking areas & staff do nothing! I’ve now waited 5 days to have a light bulb replaced in my cabin. The repair man finally came this morning & told me he works solo; hence, the long wait. I had a much better experience on Sky Princess in January. Caribbean is an old ship with a tiny shower that has a shower curtain - so outdated! On a good note, the entertainment has been excellent. The evening dining experience has been below average. Fish dishes are SO salty & the lamb was too tough to chew. Tonite the menu has an Italian theme so hoping the meatballs are good.
Most nights I sent back food & requested another option. I expected more & definitely the last time I’ll book an older ship. The directory says it was built in 2004 & refurbished in 2017. What did the refurbish? Maybe the lamps!
Small bathroom with a tiny shower that has a shower curtain. There isn’t even a hand-held shower head. It’s fixed to the wall - so outdated. We brought our own soap, as only bath gel is offered. The shampoo & cream rinse are an all in one product. Glad I also brought my own!
