My high-ish rating was the experience I shared with my family (Mother-in-law, Brother & Sister-in-law another supposes). The company as a whole has some things to work on. This was probably our 15th or so cruise. But it was our first with Princess Cruise Lines. We are in our late 50s early 60s.
We started our experience with their new "Concierge, Suite Experience. This get's a 5-star rating ...
The last time we cruised on Princess was a wonderful Panama cruise in 2017. After that, we decided we were done with cruising for a while until last fall when I saw a cruise leaving Galveston, 7 nights, Western Caribbean. It was in our budget, so we reserved a balcony cabin.
The ship is very beautiful inside, but overall the cruise was quite disappointing, mostly due to the poor quality of ...
Again we started this trip with a drive to Boca Raton and a night at the Holiday Inn Express Boca Raton West. Upon arrival it was raining, so we stopped at Greenwise Market and bought salads for dinner then went back to the hotel to eat in the breakfast area.
In the morning we drove 45 minutes to the cruise port arriving at 9:30 a.m.. We were aware that we would be embarking at pier 21 and ...
I had never been to some of the ports on the Western Caribbean, including Roatan, and Costa Maya, so booked this cruise. The Sky Princess is a fabulous ship! It never seemed crowded, even with 3500 passengers on board. The crew and staff were wonderful for the most part. The room steward I had did not stop by to introduce himself, so I used the Crew Chat and he came by finally....he was very ...
What made this trip was the itinerary!!! I liked that we didn’t have to sign after each purchase with the uncomfortable feeling of needing to tip extra with our special drink and dining package. The ship didn’t feel crowded even though it was at full capacity. The ship was clean and staff was great. Carpets in halls need to be changed or shampooed. My room needed updated blow dryer. My mom had a ...
We are veteran cruisers who have sailed on NCL, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Holland America and Princess. This cruise was our 5th Princess and 20th cruise overall. Our main reason for taking this cruise was to celebrate my mothers-in-law's 80th birthday (this was her 1st cruise).
Our Cabin was on deck 12 midship Aloha which is an accommodated mini suite. The cabin was spacious and perfect for ...
We chose this cruise because we liked the itinerary. This was our first Princess Cruise and we were disappointed. There were 4 sea days and many of the events focused on encouraging passengers to spend money on spa services. Some of the game events were better appreciated if you could participate in the game by buying some of the game items. We bought Deal/no deal tickets for $50 for 3 ...
Just returned from my NYE cruise. The Enchanted is a lovely ship. The largest I have sailed. I liked the multiple venues and the additional seating. However, it is very spread out. The crew is very hardworking but you can see the lack of staff. Long waits for drinks and food. Again, this is not a crew issue but a staffing issue. The shows were nice. I especially liked the Enrichment ...
The hubbs and I enjoyed 10 days on the Enchanted Princess recently. Here’s my thoughts! For context, We’re in our early and late 50’s respectively and this was our 14th Princess cruise. We did the 10 day Mexican Riviera on Discovery these exact same dates last year and it was probably the best cruise we had ever taken and we were excited to have a similar experience being that Enchanted and ...
We have always booked exclusively for itinerary and not the ship, but now we are going to change that to both. The itinerary was Princess Cays, St. Thomas, Dominica, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Barbados, Guadeloupe, and Antigua.
Antigua was such a pleasant surprise and it really stole the show for us! Such a breathtakingly beautiful island with super friendly locals. We took an excursion ...
