Really great time

Review for a British Columbia Cruise on Grand Princess

We had such a good time on the Grand. Went from Los Angeles to Vancouver on a reposition itinerary. Read many reviews saying the Grand wasn't so grand, however we thought it was just great. We always look for the best in a cruise. The ship was nice, we met some super fine people, had too much delicious food, and some superb entertainment. Service was first-rate in the dining room, in our cabin, ...

No norovirus. No code red. We flew into LAX Saturday morning and took Super Shuttle to the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro to board the Crown Princess. Arrived in San Pedro about 10:30 am and entered the terminal. We waited another 45 minutes before we checked in. At 1:10 pm we boarded the ship, dropped off our carry-ons, and made it to the dining room for lunch before the 1:30 pm closing time. ...

L.A. to Vancouver

Our family flew from Eastern Canada to Los Angeles, where we spent a few days before boarding the Sapphire Princess. In L.A. we stayed at the Marriott Residence Inn at the edge of Beverly Hills; this was a great choice, as it was convenient to our sightseeing and fully equipped for relaxing without getting in each other's hair every evening. After a very busy day we were all happy to get stuff ...

The Diamond princess was our first cruise with the princess cruise line. We were very happy with all the aspects of the cruise. We arrived in Whittier after riding the train from Denali. While the line was long, it moved well and we were on the ship in a short period of time. We had the anytime dinning feature and enjoyed the opportunity to try the four different dining rooms. The menu in ...

Another Nice Trip

Arrived one day early in LA before the cruise. Stayed at the LAX Marriott. My wife chose this against based on the fact that Princess was offering a transfer from the hotel to the ship. Nice enough property but the location is poor if you want to sight see without renting a car. Cab fare to Hollywood was approx. $55. We took a the #3 bus to Santa Monica. The cost was $2 and took about 35 minutes. ...

We started with a couple of days in a freezing cold but sunny Beijing to see the Great Wall and all the other Great Sights, including the excellent Silk Road Market, all brilliant!! We had a 2.5 hour car ride to the container port at Tianjin, but found the embarkation process quick and easy compared to our last experience in Miami. Our cabin was about what we expected, but the bonus was a super ...

VERY PLEASED WITH THE SAPPHIRE PRINCESS PACIFIC COASTAL CRUISE OVERVIEW: The Sapphire Princess is a beautiful ship that has one of the best staffs of any cruise we have been on. This was our 15th cruise, the fourth on Princess. We had done this cruise two years earlier on the Sapphire's twin, the Diamond Princess. EMBARKATION: We arrived at the terminal at 11:00 am with gentlemen ...

We are married with almost grown children and this was our first real holiday away from the little darlings in 15 years. It was a much needed and very much enjoyed holiday :) Flew into San Francisco and stayed with friends outside of the city. Spent the first day sightseeing in SF and what a lovely city!! Spent time down at fisherman's wharf and eating the best clam chowder out of incredible ...

My husband (34) and I (33) were on this cruise May 7-10. We had a blast! Here are some of the reasons why: The Day Before Embarkation: We rented a car from Northern California and right off the bat, our trip was great due to the upgrade we received to a Kia Rondo. Not the cutest car but it was new and had good power. We drove to LA the night before the cruise and stopped in Hollywood to visit ...
