My wife and I took this cruise in oct of ‘22. I’ve done about 10 cruises thus far and this was by far the most frustrating experience I have had.
First the good: only two sea days. The first stop was coco cay. Beautiful private beach, large enough to find a peaceful area.
Next stop was Nassau. Although it rained, it was still a good time hitting the straw market, craft beer bar and ...
Clearly from the heading, one of us got COVID. It was towards the end of the cruise (thankfully, I guess) and Royal did a great job of taking care of us. This was our 3rd cruise since COVID. I had some concerning symptoms an went to the medical center. Was diagnosed there. The head nurse was nice, the male nurse practitioner from the US was not nice. We are both vaccinated and boostered. ...
I think we were just so happy to be back to cruising but, honestly, it was not the quality we expected for either the food or entertainment options. The food at the Main Dining Room was not great and our 2nd visit to Wonderland was also lackluster. Service was steller but not enough activities to keep us entertained. Drinks were different depending on the bar. Lines for My Time even with a ...
My husband and I just returned from a Caribbean cruise. While there were positive things about this ship and crew there are also a number of negatives. The entertainment was very good. The rooms are very nicely laid out with two separate closets. As far as the ship goes the lack of an adult-only pool is disappointing. I also feel that RC is not ready for full capacity sailing yet. In seven ...
Ship itself is rather stunning! Cabin was good, but smaller than we had on Carnival. A few stains on couch that apperead removable, but were not cleaned. Shower had a leak at the connection to the controls, and tv remote was broken. Replacement remote was broken as well. Food wa good, but not exceptional. Several dishes were somewhat overcooked. Ship sailed well, minimal ocean sway. ...
We really enjoyed our cruise on Harmony!
The good:
The ship is huge with lots to offer. My husband zip lined. We both enjoyed exploring and hanging out on a wide variety of spaces on the ship.
The room attendant was great.
Service in the main dining room was excellent. We thought the food was good but not great.
We loved CocoCay!
The Windjammer is huge with a great variety of ...
First cruise for my wife and me since the pandemic started. Spent the night Saturday in Port Canaveral before boarding the ship on Sunday. Boarding the ship was simple and efficient. We never slowed down and had very little wait from the time we parked to boarding the ship. Embarkation could not have been easier. Had our covid tests, boarding pass and passports along with the health forms ...
Picked this cruise as family had been on Royal in September and said their COVID protocols where outstanding. Things have changed since September.
What went well?
1. pre-boarding was excellent. no line ups or crowds. Paper work checked and arm bands (vaccinated) where put on .
2. the muster station drill. Self guided with a simple check in. Amazing, again no crowds, and I really ...
We chose this cruise as we wanted to try a more recently built ship. The overall cruise was good. No real show stoppers, but there was some concerns. Embarkation was absolutely perfect. We never stopped moving from our shuttle to inside the ship. While on the subject, the disembarkation was the fastest ever. This new facial recognition for those with passports was so fast I was concerned it ...
This was our first big ship. Loved it. We had the key program which was our only disappointment. We got the run around from crew when we asked where key disembark breakfast and gangway was. Communication to key guests is sadly lacking. Its a shame as the program could be great. Coastal kitchen food and service was excellent. As junior suite guests we were allowed to have dinner there but our ...
