My husband and I just returned from a Caribbean cruise. While there were positive things about this ship and crew there are also a number of negatives. The entertainment was very good. The rooms are very nicely laid out with two separate closets. As far as the ship goes the lack of an adult-only pool is disappointing. I also feel that RC is not ready for full capacity sailing yet. In seven days I never saw any of the senior staff. I only saw the cruise director when he announced the Aqua Show. The ship is fine for children with lots of play areas, but quiet places for older adults are hard to find. There was very little to do for adults on the ship. The casino was so smokey I wouldn't consider going in there. The quality of the food in all of the venues including the specialty restaurants is mediocre at best. The quality of the products served has definitely gone downhill. There are also a lot up charges in all of the eating venues. This was not a cheap cruise. The chefs did a great job considering they were working with inferior products. Now the most important thing for me was the total lifting of covid protocols. I sailed on the Brilliance in Jan 2022 and extreme care was taken not to spread Covid 19. On this cruise, all of the buffets were hands-on by all passengers. The elevators were packed with unmasked people and overloaded. The result is both my husband and I came home with Covid 19. We did not go on any tours and only got off the ship on the private islands. The cruise line forged ahead too fast without filling the ships with passengers without proper staffing to make cruising an enjoyable experience.

Cabin Review

Ocean View Balcony Accessible

The balcony cabin was nice.

Port Reviews

Nassau

Very long walk to the town. No transport for the physically challenged.

Labadee

Nice but not enough places to eat and food all overcooked. Some of the vendors were pretty aggressive.

Perfect Day at CocoCay

Nice island. Enjoyed the time there
