RIPPED OFF AND HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED, DO NOT CRUISE

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Insignia

Do not i repeat, do not book an norwegian/oceana cruise. You have been warned we are on the around the world cruise currently. the cruise is 196 days from miami florida to new york. It is utterly a complete disappoint. If i was to write every disappointment, we have experienced up to now it would be 10 pages. We are going to try to condense it. First, they advertises the best cuisine at sea. That ...

This was originally the first segment of an around the world cruise. There were a couple of Itinerary changes prior to departure due to countries not allowing travel. We were disappointed that we would finish the segment in Papeete vs. continuing on to Auckland. New Zealand, Fiji, American Samoa, along with some ports in French Polynesia were cancelled. Oceania added two days in San Francisco and ...

We had been quite isolated and without any of our favorite pastimes of cruising, fine dining, socializing (did I mention cruising?) for over 2 years. Like many cruisers, we were hesitant to cruise again with so many concerns and changes to our past 11 cruises. We found this cruise (second leg of RTW) booked and paid in full two weeks in advance-Gulp! Oceania is our favorite line and Regatta ...

I had been researching around the world cruises for the last four years, in preparation for giving myself one as a retirement gift. After comparing many, I selected this one for its outstanding itinerary, which no other ship came even close to. The ship was just refurbished weeks before we embarked, and was like new. The crew was excellent, with superb service. The entertainment was very ...

Getting aboard was painless. Oceanview cabin was small clean and quiet! The food was incredible, the servers were ALL polite and efficient. Could get a reservation at the specialty restaurants anytime. The food in the main dining room was just as good as the specialty restaurants!. Free Pop and water were filled in the fridge everyday. Specialty coffees, smoothies, milkshakes were available ...

After over 40 cruises on most all major cruise lines we wanted to try something different- different itinerary, different ship, different size of ship, different class of ship. We did leg 7 of their 2018 Around the World (Tahiti to Los Angeles). Although more than we normally pay for a cruise, when we factored in OBC, air fare, etc it was comparable to a suite on NCL or Aqua on Celebrity, so ...

We have sailed with Oceania on 4 previous occasions and always enjoyed it - good company, great food, excellent service - cabins are definitely small but we don't spend much time in our cabins. BUT - this cruise was not up to our expectations, even though we did enjoy it... We believe the reason is the large number of RTW ers -they lacked the happiness and excitement, often shown by people on ...

Check in line was long and hot, Had to retrieve our own luggage from hallway, 20 doors down, Duct taped hair dryer and tiny showers...must share 1 wifi per room unless want to purchase another, large emphasis on 180 day cruise and booking again, no compensation for 2 cancelled ports due to weather...(even $50 onboard credit would have been nice)..educational presentations were limited to geology ...

Chose this for the itinerary. Food and service great. The food selection in buffet/ terrace was excellent and the serving staff were always smiling and happy., The Menu in the grand dinning room was really good. I had a dietary requirement and made my selection a day in advance although this was change 3 times by the chef. Went to the Polo grill for a Valentine dinner, expected a table for 2 ...

We are regular cruisers but not with Oceania, we usually cruise with Celebrity but thought we'd try a smaller ship for a change. We decided to treat ourselves to this cruise as we had been told that Oceania was superb, the service was wonderful as was the food, and so on. To say that we were disappointed is an understatement! We booked Concierge class and expected to have fresh fruit, flowers, ...
