Embarkation: Staff in NYC were friendly and efficient. We were in our room on the ship at 11AM (although the ship had been empty for 3 days). Getting off: No information available on transport to city, to train station or to airport--unless booked through Norwegian. Im just writing this to confirm everything said by terminallyconfused01. My biggest complaints were. 1.Swimming pool was not heated for 12 of the 14 days of the cruise. Booked a transatlantic fm NYC to Rome. The ship (Breakaway) is in need to major cleaning and updating. Food in complimentary restaurants, while plentiful, is bland and not usually very hot. Specialty restaurants a little better, but meals can take up to 3 hrs to complete. Even specialty menus are limited and not enticing.
