This cruise from NYC to Rome was quite interesting. Some good, but far to many missteps by NCL. This was a 16 day cruise from NYC to Rome.
The Good. The entertainment was first rate. "Burn the Floor" and "Six" were both professional presented and satisfying to watch. The various bands around the ship were good. The Syd Norman show was excellent. The combined ship band concert in the Main theater was great, as was the cabaret show put on by the ships singers. All of the stand ups I saw were very funny.
For a quick complimentary meal the best plate on the ship was the Noodle Cafe. Small menu, but always good. The best specialty meal I had was in Cagney's. Two meal there, both were perfect in everyway. The Water front area bars and restaurants were perfect for this cruise.
Excellent city of visit. Took a standard see the main sights tour through NCL. No complaints.
What a grand city and beautiful people. Took a walking tour through the old town.
A very nice city where they have blended the very old with the new in a very insightful way. We took a standard NCL sight seeing bus tour, though it was supposed to be in German. Lucky for us the guide spoke 4 languages and took care of all of us.
