Onboarding/check in: was a breeze – no major lines when checking in late afternoon and checking into the safety/muster stations were quick and easy
Room: showers were nice with the glass coverage rather than the plastic curtains. Television was older and had limited options – same movies and sitcoms replayed. Live news channels would often be stuck/no reception. I know some people don’t go on cruises to watch television but on a transatlantic crossing some non-paid options would be nice. Paid movies were about $9? I know in the past their options were better.Rooms were showing some wear, found a random nail in the drawers. Maintenance had to come to fix a leaky pipe in the sink – we had to put the garbage can underneath and it filled up half the bucket (definitely not things to want to worry about during vacation). Walls were scuffed as well as counters. Beds were comfortable and room was quiet. Hardly heard the neighbors
Ports: Disembarkation was very chaotic in some ports to the point that they had to make multiple announcements asking guests to not crowd the stairways. Was told by other guests that it was due to malfunctioning tenders and limited bus transfers from port.
