Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Riviera

Embarkation was a total disaster. We waited in line in a tent in the Miami heat for almost 2 hours so Oceania could check our Covid records. No water was available and only limited seating was available The quality of the food in the Terrace restaurant is not as good as our last Riviera cruise. Service in Toscana was very slow and non-attentive. Staff at the reception desk bordered on ...

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on Seven Seas Mariner

Always remember that whatever you get for "free" is worth exactly what you pay for it. Internet service aboard the mariner is a signal case in point. Over the 22 days of this cruise, I think I got perhaps 10 minutes of semi-acceptable quality wifi/nternet acces. Slow, unreliable, unpredictable, unworkable and as frustrating as pushing a mule up a steep hill. And I don't think that those ...

We took the 141 day cruise because it hit most of the places on our bucket list and it was in celebration of our retirement. The ship was quite nice and our cabin was spacious enough. But after 4 months we started to get bored with the menu, it had been repeated once already. The activities were getting humdrum as well as the entertainment. At the beginning of the cruise, there was a great variety ...

We have done 4 world cruises previously and wanted to try their first World Cruise 141 days. The ship is lovely the food was like most ships we did not as a whole enjoy the specialty restaurants the food was not the higher quality we expected. The portions were small and usually too salty or strange to our taste that even though they were offered to the world cruise set free we canceled our ...

Sorry, Oceania, but Princess has a better product. The food was not enjoyable and rather repetitive. The pizza was to die for--literally--that bad! Here in Rome we had real pizza; the stuff at the Terrace Cafe was tomatoe sauce on cardboard. The 24-hour International Cafe on Princess is marvelous. Sirena only offered a coffee machine and room service after normal restaurant hours. But what if you ...

Is Oceania slipping?

The itinerary was the attraction as well as the benefits conferred as a result of my cruise status (over 15 with Oceania in the last 5 years.) The service in the cafeteria was sub-par. many of the servers didn't speak adequate english to understand the request of the passenger. They made little effort to comprehend and would just stare awaiting the passenger's clarification of the english ...

When we first heard about a hundred eighty days world cruise we were both excited and almost incredulous that such a cruise did exist. My wife wanted an owners’ suite and even this was with more than one year in advance they were all booked. Nevertheless, we put ourselves on the waiting list and eventually we got the accommodation she wanted. We had never cruised on Oceania but we heard good ...

We have just returned from a ten–day cruise out of Miami on Riviera called “Heart of the Caribbean”. It was our 24th cruise with Oceania that began in 2003 on Regatta. As usual, the voyage was very enjoyable and the experience was greatly enhanced by the friendly and efficient restaurant and stateroom staff. Nevertheless, there were some disappointments this time that I feel I should share with ...
