The service in the cafeteria was sub-par. many of the servers didn't speak adequate english to understand the request of the passenger. They made little effort to comprehend and would just stare awaiting the passenger's clarification of the english ...
We chose this particular cruise as it was a transoceanic! The ports we wanted to visit were included and the number of sea days we enjoy! Everything about the Marina is perfect! Great sized ship, no lines and after the second day the staff you work with daily know your name and your particular wants and likes. All the crew is there to make your trip a wonderful experience. Oceania is a good cruise line, and the Marina is a lovely ship.
There are only 1250 passengers, so people who are wary of the 5000 -passenger vessels would be wise to consiser this company.
It is never crowded, even in the Terrace Cafe (buffet).
