Too many cut backs poor service food and entertainment

Review for a Canary Islands Cruise on Iona

check in was easy and took about 30 minutes to get on the ship. We self disembarked which was also quite quick . No wow factor on boarding the ship. There are 3 sets of 8 lifts and you wait ages for a lift and it is often full . Maximum 8 people in each lift less if there is a mobility scooter or wheelchair and there are over 5000 guests . Last day 12 lifts out of 24 were out of ...

Worse NCL ship managed

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Norwegian Epic

I travel on NCL quite a bit but the Epic was horrific. Did a B2B cruise Jan-28-2024 through 3-11-2024. LONG LONG LINES everywhere, whether dining, bars, venues. I've been on many NCL ships and other cruise lines, but nothing like this. The first leg of the trip, they ran out of lite beers on 5th day, and I'm not a beer drinker but EVERYONE was complaining. You had to wait 45 mins for a drink ...

lines, Lines Lines and ship in need of TLC

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Epic

Had a Balcony room on the 14th floor The Balcony had some serious rust issues to make it quite unappealing to sit outside. But when you get to a port and look at the rest of the ship, it's understood why, there is quite a bit of Rust showing thru..... while other cruise lines do painting maintenance while in port, never saw any NCL personnel with even a paint rush. It needs some serious ...

Not a nice experience

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Iona

We chose this cruise to have a little sunshine in January. It was the first and will most definitely be the last time on this uncomfortable vibrating cruise ship. My wife and I have travelled in many ships over the years and P&O up to now have been our favourite cruise company. The Iona cruise ship is big, probably too big if I’m being honest as even the calmest sea it vibrates into a ...

Awful experience

Review for a Canary Islands Cruise on Azura

3 days before we sailed, we were contacted by P&O who advised us that our cabin was no longer available and gave us an ultimatum of a downgrade to inside cabin with a 50% refund or cancel our holiday. We were left with no choice but to accept the downgrade. We booked this cruise in June 23. The ship itself is in a poor state and in desperate need of a refurb. The food was substandard. We we both ...

Noisy ceiling panels and dirty shower head

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC World Europa

The ship looks beautiful and really modern, was very impressed on the 1st day; then things got worse: When the sea was rough and very windy, the ceiling panels made such loud sounds that we couldn’t sleep. They listened to the videos for 3am, 5am with the loud noises; but still need to wait until it happens again and checked by the carpenter before we can change cabin. We were already near the ...

Please never book MSC

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on MSC Poesia

If I could give no stars I would. I joined a world cruise with MSC and have had nothing but frustration and grievances. If you are a parent I highly suggest considering another cruise line. A child was assaulted by an adult passenger and when the parents filed a complaint after bringing him to the medical center, nothing was done but a warning. The baby pool on the cruise was under maintenance ...

How is this cruise line still in business?!

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on MSC Poesia

My husband and I embarked on this cruise, despite a radically changed itinerary, because MSC refused our request for a refund. However, our experience was so awful that we disembarked on day 20 of 85 in Walvis Bay, Namibia, and flew home from there. Better to forfeit the unused cruise fare than to continue to subject ourselves to the cruise line’s utter disdain for passengers and 65 more days of ...

Never again

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on MSC Poesia

Incredibly disillusioned

We chose this world cruise excited to visit some of our bucket list destinations. While visiting Egypt became impossible due to conflict in the region we were still thrilled we would be going to Rhodes. But not to be. More than half the cruise has been made up of sea days with substandard destinations. Food has bern appalling with regular absence of fresh fruit, salad and now no coffee available ...

WORSE WORLD CRUISE EVER- MSC IS THE WORST CRUISE COMPANY

Review for a World Cruise Cruise on MSC Poesia

User Avatar

We are currently on this terrible cruise Over 500 people on board have signed a petition protesting the way MSC are treating us. 1. So many sea days Change of itinerary increasing itinerary to an extra 20 sea days, less port times, and no compensation for these changes or refunds of tax and port fees. As compared to other cruise companies such as Cunard, princess, costa etc who have ...
