Lacks of food, no real dining room, to much vegan. Cabin “ like IKIA”, cheap furniture, on balcony two metal small chairs, not comfortable. Meet like rubber. 3 times ordered New York steak never eat, horrible. In cabin small bathroom without electric outlet. In cabin very dark, only two small lamps on ceiling, very difficult to see self in the mirror. Very bed entertainment. Most of ...

This is my second Queen Elizabeth review. Cabin - This time we were in cabin next door to where we stayed last year. Everything was well maintained, clean, and plenty of space and storage for our 34 night cruise. Service - impeccable everywhere. Food - Britannia MDR breakfast lunch and dinner always hot, beautifully presented and tasty. Freedom dining works for us. No queues. Every table ...

My wife and I chose this cruise to finish a self managed holiday as we were in Europe and wanted to travel through the Suez Canal to Dubai and this cruise had the stops we wanted included three days in Egypt. My wife and I cruised the Silver Spirit from Athens to Dubai in late October through to mid-November 2023 and now have had time to reflect on the experience from booking through to ...

Cruising from Athens to Dubai, on Resilient Lady. Excellent staff members and crew. Could not falter, all very busy and seem so happy and content with their positions. The service desk personnel on deck 5 seem to be always busy with passengers queries. Wi Fi is OK, but basic Wi Fi seems to drop out a fair bit. The App is OK and very good for younger generation and those with internet ...

This was a different cruise to the norm. It was a new way of cruising. I must say we had a great time. Some of the ports we stopped at, we did not have enough time to explore fully. There were a few issues with port authorities, which slowed down disembarking. (Virgin always blamed the country) There was a lack of communication to the passengers. The virgin app had its problems and the did not ...

Resilient Lady is exceptional. The food is outstanding . Truly. The decor is amazing as are the acoustics. The crew were the most amazing I’ve ever encountered. A selection of the worlds brightest and best hospitality stars. Entertainment was varied and even if you didn’t enjoy because it wasn’t your style, you couldn’t fault the quality and diversity. The age profile ( average age ...

My husband and I are actually booked all the way through to Sydney. The staff on board are fantastic however they need more information and better communication skills. The back office is dreadful, it's disconnect between reality for passengers onboard is absolutely huge. 'shore things' staff have NO useful information about excursions and no alternatives available for people with mobility ...

The cruise from Athens to Sydney was split into 3 parts : Athens to Dubai / Dubai to Singapore / Singapore to Sydney. The maximum passenger capacity is approx 2700. The back to back passengers (sailors) totalled 1200 for the 42 days on board. The demographic / average age was 61 yo. Unfortunately despite Virgin Voyages having this information well in advance, the entertainment was aimed at a ...

My wife convinced me 2 years ago to book a 7 day cruise with p&o on Iona to the Norwegian Fjords. Well i loved it and have had the cruise bug ever since. So once we came back i knew we had to go on another one. My wife likes to watch Cruise 1st TV, she found a great deal for the new Virgin Voyages ship Resilient Lady. This cruise was a repositioning cruise from Athens to Dubai with a 2 night ...

A McCafe At Sea

We chose this cruise because it was a very good price, had some ports we had not previously visited and was a great way for us to end our six months in Europe. Let’s face it, anything beats a long haul flight, home! We are both 60, active and avid travellers, sometime cruisers. I have low vision and limited hearing (but I play a mean pinball). So why a McCafe at sea? - I love my McCafe, I ...
