While most of the staff were very friendly and go out of their way to help you, guest services left must to be desired. Unless you purchase upgrades and shore excursions, don't expect must. The good news is that the overall energy level has much improved since our lethargic NZ experience. The cruise director and his staff did a great job of keeping us all engaged and there was fun enjoyed by all.

This was my third Princess cruise, and this boat should not have 4.5/5 stars. It’s really worn with marked up and beat up furniture, musty hallway carpet, and rusted railings.

We live in Southern California and got a great deal on a balcony room and booked this trip prior to my husbands unexpected quadruple bypass. We didn't cancel the cruise in hopes that my husband was well enough to go.
