10 years ago, I had the chance to travel with the Oasis of the Seas with my wife, parents, and young daughter (3yo). It was, back then, our first RC experience, as we had only traveled on Celebrity a few times before. We had figured that, with a young kid, it might be more fun to be with RC, and so we chose the Oasis at the time. After a 10 (!) years hiatus, we decided to go back, now with 2 kids ...
The cruise was AWESOME! The cruise staff, live shows, cocktails, food and overall on board service…4 thumbs up!!!! The only downside to the entire vacation, #1 The unclean bed sheets, #2 The dirty spots on the white bed comforter, #3 The dirty balcony table, YUCK! I always travel with an extra top sheet and a thin quilt just in case. Well this was one of those just in case situation. #4 The ...
I chose Virgin because I heard a lot of good things about them.
I’m Platinum on Carnival and I’ve cruised several on Royal as well.
One thing that I love about Virgin is they honored/matched my Carnival loyalty and gave me the perks while on board.
I can’t say anything bad about Virgin but I have some ideas for them to improve.
What will make Virgin so awesome during the stop at ...
I have been on almost 30 cruises (RCCL, Celebrity, Princess, Carnival) I was excited to try this new cruise line. Advertised as Luxury and Michelin Rated Restaurants. So much to list that was so horrible. I am not a complainer and I'm usually pretty tolerant and open minded. The furniture in the rooms and all over the ship are so cheap, uncomfortable and looks like everything came from Ikea. ...
My partner and I WON the vacation aboard the Margaritaville at sea paradise to Freeport Bahamas! We had great experiences both there and back on the ship! The crew was very nice and their level of ‘hypeness’ made our experience that much better! Before boarding, we met our host, Terri! She was exception! She was a part of every event we attended and kept us laughing the entire time! After ...
This cruise ship was the worst cruise ship I have been on . I swear they overbooked , no room at any time at any bar restaurant, absolutely no tables. The pools were over crowded, the food in the dining rooms were disgusting it took for everyone to get what you ordered . The air-conditioning went out the rooms were hot , they did had out a hand full of box fans . Never once met out room ...
I had a grate experience the food was great just a lot of restaurants close to early and need more shopping stores. The one thing that would be great is an indoor well ventilated cigar bar with jazz band. Other than that, I plan on going again in 2026. And need a sports lounge. I know this cruise line has just getting started do to Covid. I do be there is room for improvement. I am in the business ...
A relative picked the MSC Seaside cruise. There were a few things that were really bad. The worst was the Ipanema dining room food. The main entrees were terrible. The fried chicken and waffle was terrible. The chicken parm with spaghetti was even worse. The chicken was like trying to eat shoe leather. Chef Boyardee in can is better than the spaghetti they served us. I advise that you just eat in ...
Chose this cruise because it fit the schedules of 4 adults. This is an older, smaller ship, but the ship was in good condition. The crew was professional and very service oriented. The food was good, especially considering the number of meals being prepared. The cruise is seriously overcrowded. Yes, cruises are crowded, but this one seemed to be more so, perhaps because of summer and more than two ...
I thought we would see improvements after the Seaside's failing lowest health score of 67 out of 100. According to the CDC yet we still got sick as did several passengers we spoke to, spending the cruise sick in our cabin is no way to enjoy a vacation.
We also felt sick from the food left out for hours while visiting the Ocean Kay private island, I would avoid eating there. Also it seemed like ...
