We started our cruise of 10 days with some concern due to the harsh reviews that have been posted on this site. We quickly came to the conclusion that either HAL had suddenly righted the ship, or that a tremendous number of nit-pickers post reviews. Simply, this was one of the best cruises we have taken. Not perfect, but nothing is and the imperfections were relatively minor. The ship was sold out ...

Time of year, available suite, length, ship.
Sailing in February is a great get-away for those of us sick of winter. Sailing on Koningsdam was a treat, it being a new vessel. Lots of new things onboard and in the suite. Verandah is as has been on other ships, large and comfortable. Inside, not crowded and nicely furnished, i.e. sofa, two chairs, 65" flat-screen. The TV is a big improvement, ...
Pretty much everything was great. Royal Caribbean experience, fun activities, wonderful dining experience, beautiful weather. The staffs are extremely friendly and food was amazing, better than my last few trips. The unique experience, North Star and iFly were great. But seems to be subjective to weather condition. The only thing I would complain or comment negatively is the adventure ocean ...
We chose this cruise mainly because we had never been to Grand Cayman or Jamaica. Embarkation was very easy, the cabin was a bit short on storage space, but it was also spotless and comfortable. The entire ship was immaculate - not an easy task with 3000+ guests on board! The entertainment was varied and excellent. I was especially impressed by the three original shows performed by the ship's ...
This is a beautiful ship and sailing, and one that families with kids, adults, and solo travelers alike can all enjoy.
We drove in to Bayonne from about two hours away on the morning of our sailing. There by 9:30 a.m., car parked by 10, through check-in right at our scheduled time of 10:30 a.m., and on the ship at 1:10. It couldn't have been much smoother.
The ship has two great dining ...
I was anxious to sail on the Koningsdam. In the Spring of 2016 while cruising on the Westerdam, we heard about the Koningsdam from some of the crew members who had an opportunity to preview the new ship.
We arrived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Friday. We spent Friday and Saturday lounging pool side at the resort.
We boarded the ship on Sunday early afternoon. From the time we got out of ...
It's an easy flight for us to Fort Lauderdale, and $15 cab ride from the airport to Port Everglades, where we experienced a smooth embarkation and our first delicious meal in the Oceanview Cafe while waiting for our cabin to be ready.
This was our first cruise on a Celebrity solstice-class ship. It is a beautiful ship, and rarely feels crowded thanks to the design of passenger flow as well as ...
We have taken 23 cruises to date 14 on NCL. The 9 other cruises have been on 4 other lines. I prefer NCL for many reasons and always book a balcony. Last November we went on the Escape out of Miami, where you get to the Islands faster and always make more stops which is the key in my opinion to cruising.
School vacation was required as we were joined by 6 of our grandchildren on this particular ...
We chose this cruise on recommendation of our AAA agent and for an itinerary which included the ABC Islands. We stayed at Cruise Port Inn in Fort Lauderdale for two nights prior to embarkation and anticipate that after the renovation now in progress, it will be a much nicer place to stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful in spite of the physical mess. The breakfast area was a crowded ...
