Sail Date: Feb 2017
Cabin: Verandah Stateroom

I was anxious to sail on the Koningsdam. In the Spring of 2016 while cruising on the Westerdam, we heard about the Koningsdam from some of the crew members who had an opportunity to preview the new ship.

We arrived in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Friday. We spent Friday and Saturday lounging pool side at the resort.

We boarded the ship on Sunday early afternoon. From the time we got out of the taxi until we stepped on board it was 40 minutes. I felt that embarkation was very efficient. Nicely done.

Cabin Review

Verandah Stateroom

Cabin VC

We were in a cabin with a balcony, as I enjoy sitting on the balcony in the afternoon. The cabin is a bit smaller than we have had in the past, but is so very well appointed with a wall mounted television and more storage than ever. The bathroom is small, but also nicely done. The shower is glass walled so nice and bright.
