MSC claims to be focused on passengers and claim they are elevating the cruise experience.
Our MSC experience was exactly the opposite.
The CONS - Wait...wait...and wait again! We heard the ship was under staff by 500 but every time we asked a staff member they insisted that the ship was at full compliment. Perhaps they would have been better served by claiming to be understaffed, we ...
Honestly I did not like this ship at all. The other three people on the cruise with us also hated it. We all agreed the other boats in the fleet are much better and the layout is more desirable.
Pro's:
-The rooms are very big compared to other ships. Bathroom is the same size. The added couch is a nice touch.
-The ship itself does have some new decor and details.
-Price is right ...
We have been on 20 cruises, 8 on NCL. I will give you my opinion pros and cons
Pros: service except customer service was wonderful. C S was awful! Had a major problem concerning money we never got from our kids and still don’t have.. the fight continues
Nice cabins, large enough for 2.
Food was good, but they have cut back on selections. Service in dining rooms especially the ...
Embarkation, long line to clear security, after that check in was quick and efficient.
Once onboard, long lines and crowds everywhere. Tried to have lunch at the Surfside Grill but we were turned away because it was completely full.
Finally able to get the app connected so we could book entertainment reservations. Donna Summer, Noise Boys and the Price is Right were all SOLD OUT! This was ...
I writing a review because we never received a response from the letter to the CEO of NCL.
We have travelled many times on NCL, (gold level), and have loved each and every one. On past cruises, we sailed on smaller ships such as the DAWN and the GEM et al. Our impression of the ESCAPE is that it’s exactly the same as the smaller ships except it was much longer and floors were added for ...
This cruise and ship were terrible. During embarkation, we were stuck in hallways waiting to go to our cabins. We were not allowed into our cabin until after the 4:30 muster drill. The ship is very poorly designed, especially for the number of passengers. The casino is oversized, and filled with smoke that permeates into other areas of the ship. Other venues are way too small. The comedy ...
Now that I had time to reflect on my first princess cruise experience, I would like to share my thoughts. The ship was amazing, the process to get on and off went smoothly. It does help to pay for transportation to and from the ship and pay for a suite. We did custom medallions and we loved them. The Penthouse suite A734 was nice. Excellent food throughout the ship. The service was incredible, ...
We decided to sail the Prima this past week, Feb. 5-12 for my husband’s 50th birthday present. We had 3 balcony rooms and 6 family members. We were in rooms: 10938,10940,10942.
We have sailed NCL many times before and up until this cruise had been loyal members for over 20 years to NCL.
Let me start off this post by saying I see so many members here saying you should just be thankful you ...
We chose this ship because it was their newest in the fleet. Yes, it is massive and along with that comes a massive amount of passengers, 6K plus!!!
Those passengers included a huge amount of families with young children who ran amok through the ship making it difficult for seniors like us to find a quiet place, other than the Solarium, to relax, which by the way has no pool, only overcrowded ...
Biggest complaint was the cabin as you can see from my review of the cabin. The Guys Burgers and the Blue Iguana Cantina saved the day. We went to the dining room and that was just horrible. I forgot that the servers are forced to dance to the "delight" of the crowd. While this is going on everything stops. If your food has not been served it will be ice cold by the time it gets to you. we were ...
