This was definitely not our best cruise experience. We have been on eight cruises and this one was average at best. I would not recommend going on this cruise. I chose this cruise because of the convenience of leavinng from a port in my home state.

This was my first time on NCL. I found the food and service to be poor. The room steward was definitely not attentive and sometimes had an attitude. My family had a cabin balcony. This was my third cruise with Royal Caribbean. Each has gotten progressively worse and cost more each time.

We choose this route because of the islands and the excursions. The excursions and islands were great! The ship however was a different story.

I wanted to try one of the mega boats as my previous experiences have been with mid-large sized boats. I've cruised with Carnival, Celebrity, HAL, NCL, Princess and RCI and have mild expectations but RCI was a terrible disappointment for food (free and specialty dining), easily worse of any cruiseline I've been on.
