We flew from London to Istanbul the day before the cruise, very excited to be going on our fist small ship or in this case yacht. Our first cruise with Oceania (Regatta) was a gem. We were especially impressed by the quality of the food, so we looked forward to the experience on their decades newer ship, the Riviera. Sadly, that's what this cruise turned out to be. We have cruised with Regent previously - our last cruise was from Mumbai to Bali in December 2012. That cruise rated a 9 out of a 10 for us. We sailed on the Constellation in November on their Greek Islands cruise., not our happiest. Travelling to istanbul was as usual for us easy as not that long a flight from U.K. and train and tram from Attaturk airport is so so simple. we got of the tram just a couple minutes from where the Constellation was docked. YES... we are Celebrity "Elite" members.... we quaff our tea with a raised pinky, actually dress for formal nights, (tee shirts with a vest will apparently will do on Celebrity these days....
