We took the British Isles cruise on Crown Princess, August, 2019. We had a really good time and enjoyed ourselves.
Ship: Although not the fanciest ship around, the Crown Princess was very clean, had everything we needed and was easy to find our way around.
Embarkation: We boarded in Dublin and were given our medallions and were on board in under two minutes. Excellent.

For those interested in a comparison, let's look at the differences between Oceania and Princess. We were on the 18-day Dublin-Copenhagen segment. This was our first cruise with Oceania. We are elite with Princess. We chose this cruise because of the itinerary: Norway and northern Russian ports.

After reading a review posted here, I want to post my own review of this same cruise. On our 8th Oceania cruise, our second on Nautica, this cruise was one of our best cruises for the total ship experience with the additional charm of the Irish ports of call.

We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and it did not disappoint. Quite the selection of interesting ports and activities. The itinerary was excellent. Love that cruise ships going out of Dublin. The required need to use shuttle buses from makeshift passenger terminal was awkward. Much better at disembarktion. This itinerary to British Isles and Iceland was on sale so in general we felt a great value for money. Some said there was a downgrade of quality & service but we didn't see that at all. The ship was in good shape, well kept and clean. Service was as usual very good.

As mentioned the destination was amazing and the ship was wonderful, as we knew it would be having sailed on every one of the solicited class Ship except FOR the Reflection.
