Golden rule here is AVOID P&O shuttle bus and take a taxi from the port into the city and back- much cheaper for family of 4. Barcelona is big as well as a major tourist draw and hot++ in peak season, so expect crowds and inflated restaurant prices. Entry on the gate to the Sagrada Familia was e28 pp, so we gave it a miss.
