We were wowed by The Edge - the ship is huge but you'd never know it - it's not crowded at all given the size. We had an Outside Cabin on the 3rd floor - it was amazing - so large, and the bathroom was great - big, with loads of room - fabulous shower. There's loads of storage space from inside the coset to the little hidden areas that open up - tons of deep drawers to use. We were concerned we'd hear the set-up each morning for disembarking, which was below us - we heard nothing - slept like babies! Gym is fabulous - only drawback is you'll never, ever see any of the staff/trainers around. And if you do, they will essentially ignore you if you're not paying them to train you. The stretch area in the gym is far, far, far to small for the size of the ship. Especially when you have the entertainment staff using the stretch area to do their personal workouts - they will take over the entire area. Equipment - balls/mats are piled on one wall where there's a mirror - these need to be moved. Any good trainer would catch this - but the trainer they had on our cruise didn't get it. If you're lifting free weights, you want to see your form - not dodging about trying to see behind sit-up balls.

Food was fabulous in the Oceanview Cafe - there wasn't one single meal we had that was off. The 4 Restaurants you can dine in are just ok - not great food, and not consistent in service or quality.

Service was great in the restaurants but the Customer Service area was just okay - they seemed to now know anything about anything. This is what most people on the cruise felt - it's as though the staff were out of touch with almost everything. Our Captain was the best we've ever had on a ship - he's moving over to the Ascent soon. Embarkation and disembarking was so well manage it was epic!! Really! Sail this ship - it's the best cruise we've ever had and the ship is stunning.
