My Daughter has always.wanted to visit Texas and for her 40th Birthday we chose Breeze out of Galveston and then rented a house for a week afterward in Austin.

We flew into Houston and met up with our Son and Son in Law the night before we cruised, we had 3 car rentals and followed in convoy to Galveston. Parking was efficient at the port and we walked across the road to the terminal. Long lengthy queues in a very hot environment was a challenge, but hey we are on holiday. From beginning to end, we all loved everything about this cruise, it was exactly what we had wanted from a cruise with all the family being happy... My grandsons loved the Basketball court and were on it as much as humanely possible, other than that they were in the water park.... we were a group of 6 adults and 2 boys, one 8 and the other 13.... We all loved the entertainments, the cruise director was Schwartz, he kept everyone totally entertained, one of the best Cruise Directors we have come across in our years of cruising. We only did 2 excursions, which were both great, The weather was amazing which always helps. Food was good, the staff in the main restaurant were extremely lovely, we tended to try and eat at the same table each night, because it was a round table just on the entrance to the main dining room and my boys liked it there. We had 2 Balcony Cabins and one inside for the family of four, their choice.... Cabin Steward was very accommodating and good service, very polite. Will definitely cruise Carnival again.
