We did a trans Atlantic crossing before starting the Baltic cruise. It was very restful and a great way to just unwind before the sightseeing and shore excursions started. We went this time of the year to view the gardens of the area in spring. It was wonderful. Chilly, some rain and even a bad snow storm in St. Petersburg, but over all well worth the time and money. The tulip festival in Amsterdam, and the Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen were fabulous. On board the Regal Princess, the captain and crew were great and our sea days were filled with entertainment and lots of food. Alfredos Pizza was out of this world good and save room for dessert. All wonderful. The entertainment was great all over the ship and exceptional in the Princess Theater every night. We always enjoy the shows and Princess always has great entertainers. The Beatle Maniacs were great as were the folk dancers in Russia. Shows that are not to be missed.
