We chose this cruise because we'd always wanted to see the Baltic. This also allowed us to experience a trans-Atlantic cruise which we loved. It was our first experience with Ocean Medallion and it worked well. The Medallions were delivered before the cruise and the embarkation went quicker than ever. The Medallions worked well on the ship for the most part as charges, getting on and off the ship, and door unlocking were great. They do not always enable you to order drinks from anywhere. You need to be in certain spots. Internet was excellent; best ever internet access we've ever had on board a ship.

Loved the trans-Atlantic part of the cruise. We encountered 36 hours where we were in sustained winds of Force 11 with gusts to 12. While many people did not feel well the ship handled very well in rough seas. Loved all the sea days on this part of the cruise.

The Baltic portion of the cruise was good as well although port intensive so you can get a bit burned out by having excursions several days in a row. Well worth it though. We thought Tallinn, Estonia was a hidden gem and highly recommend it.

Cabin Review

Cabin BD

The cabin was fine. We lived there for 26 days and everything worked and the room was clean. No real problem with noise but those getting it should realize it's a connecting cabin and so you do get a bit more noise from neighbors than in a non connecting room. We had great neighbors so it wasn't an issue but louder people would have changed the experience. The balcony was large enough to enjoy and provided good views.
