Cabin: Deluxe Balcony

We chose this curise as we had not been to this part of the world and we were able to get a balcony for a reasonable price .the ports were very interesting and we looked forward to seeing them all .we embarked in ft.lauderdale about 4 hours drive from home and flew home from copenhagen for a 26 day cruise .the ship was very nice as it was the first time on that size for us ,we usually do a smaller vessel .the cabin was my big dissapointment due to the obstruction and the often privacy issue .however the cabin stewart was great .dining was average except for formal nights .they did not wow me .the entertainment was fabulous and we enjoyed that very much .we loved karokee and also th ocean voice ,marriage game ,yes and no ,the activites were good except there was no art activities except in the atrium 2 times with watercolor .the craft were mostly sewing ,not card or jewlery making ,napkin folding etc. .the service was wonderful ,our waiter flora .assistant nina ,head waiter michael .

The ports were good and we enjoyed them .i would go againw ith better time of year for weather and definately a better cabin ,no obstuction .

Cabin Review

Deluxe Balcony

Cabin DE

It was very nice having a deluxe balcony ,however there was an obstruction of a life boat and that was also not so bad ,but the life boat was always being serviced at least 4 or 5 times during our cruise both at port and at sea .i was upset by this as i did not receive any notices of this .the only notice was when the were cleaning the balcony and that was a port day so it did not affect us .there was two occasions where i came out of the bathroom to see a man standing on life boat totally takening our privacy from us as i had to keep curtians closed as i did not know when this would occur, defeating the purpose of a balcony .

Other than that it was a pleasant cruise with exception of the weather which is no ones abilty to change that .i would choose a different time of year if ever we venture to that part of the world .
