Wanted to visit St Petersburg and do it with family. Overall a very positive experience but not sure if cruising is for us. It’s campervan all the way now because we’ve just bought one. Royston excursion manager excellent and well organised, plus getting on and off board smooth. Security checks slick and organised. I had researched a number of ports so new what I wanted to do. We wanted to experience the midnight sun. Cruise compass daily magazine informative and useful. We would have liked a short talk about ship soon after boarding so that we could become familiar with layout and what to expect. State room attendant very friendly and efficient. Parking at port efficient and made embarkation easy as luggage boarded for you the same goes for disembarkation. Drinks package a must and worry free if you want to enjoy the large variety of drinks. Choose front or outside cabin if you want plenty of room.
