We chose this cruise because of the amazing destinations. Traveling through the Baltic, stopping in Denmark, Norway, Estonia, Finland and finishing up in St.Petersburg in Russia.
The destinations did not disappoint...but the food and entertainment were abysmal. The ice show was spectacular...but if all went downhill from there.
It was similar to a 70’s holiday camp type entertainment with British themes almost every night...think Butlins....not what you’d associate with international entertainment. Quizzes about British tv programmes...one night the entire main promenade was decked with Union Jack flags and the English national anthem blasted out....then came the entertainment staff similarly decked out in Union Jack clothes singing...it’s nice to be proud of your nationality....but on a Baltic cruise to St. Petersburg amid people from ALL different nationalities it was quite odd and inappropriate. We hadn’t booked a British knees-up for a holiday....or so we thought!
Grubby. Small. Shabby. There was a little hole through the wall to next cabin and also, as it was an adjoining cabin there was a door...which was not really sealed at all...you could see all the light coming in from the next cabin. We stuffed it with tussue.
