This was our 3rd carnival cruise. The Breeze just being out of dry dock did. It live up to our expectations based on past cruises. We didn't get to board until about 1 1/2 hours after our scheduled time. There was an overwhelming smell of sewer in places. The food & drinks were very good but the service was lacking. It took an act of congress to get a drink from the bar staff in the dining room every night. We started going to a bar right before our dinner time just so we wouldn't have to wait. He was sure Johnny on the spot for the after dinner shots though. Our room was the same as our other interior rooms with the exception of our bed. Our mattress was not very comfortable at all this time. We took an excursion in Cozumel that we have taken every cruise which is passion island. The wait staff on the beach was very lacking. We were very disappointed in that area. The other ports were new to us. Belize we did zip lining & cave tubing. The bus ride was over an hour & the bus was not comfortable at all! The air conditioning was not very good either. Our guides tried their best but the p.a. System on the bus did not work very well. The beach in Honduras was awesome & along with Cayman is my favorite place to snorkel! Would visit there again! Overall the cruise was a great getaway but did not live up to our expectations! I don't think we will sail on the Breeze again.
