First and Last Time on NCL

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on Norwegian Epic

User Avatar

I just returned as a solo traveler on the NCL EPIC. Worst cruise ship I have ever cruised on. Eleven days of pure torture. This ship feels like a dark, dank, dirty, seedy two-star Las Vegas Casino, only in Pahrump, NV. The food was horrible, the crew were constantly angry, often agitating passengers. My check in was botched, my app never worked, my name was wrong, all my excursions were cancelled ...

COULD NOT PAY ME TO GET BACK ON THIS SHIP

I booked and paid for this cruise for my Husbands birthday on the 2nd Oct or 33rd Wedding anniversary on the 6th Oct and as a treat for my parents who are both 81 and in very poor health. My Mam has mixed dementia and my Dad stage 4 lung cancer, this was the last holiday they will ever have. We have never sailed NCL and have only ever sailed with RC, we left the cruise ship on Tuesday 4 days ...

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Poesia

If you want to be treated like a criminal, discriminated against and be at risk of burning to death on the open seas, MSC is the cruise line for you! My issues started even before the cruise. As a solo traveller, and a gay man, I emailed MSC asking if they would hold an LGBT drinks event on the cruise, as nearly every other cruise line does. The email response did not address my question, so I ...

Waste of time

Family friendly and to try a new cruise line . What we got was the rudest most unhelpful staff I have ever seen in the 15+ years of cruising. The dinning was average and again “couldn’t care less type of attitude “ Nobody seemed to know what was going on and never got the same answer twice. We had a tight connection and wanted to know how long roughly it would take to leave the ship ...

Daughter found metal in her meal and MSC reacted as if it was normal.

The service on board is ok as long as you are not requesting anything. If you are not in the yatch club or apeeding a lot of $$$$ on extra you will not recieve anything. Here are some example: - my daughter found a metal tack in her chicken, their only reaction was to replace the chicken lno other excuse, letter of excuse - the bar by the pool is often out of cold draft beer, if you ...

Costa Cost-a-lot Nightmare

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Costa Mediterranea

My family had wanted to take a Mediterranean cruise for years, and after completing six domestic cruises in the U.S., we decided to finally take a giant leap over the pond for a European cruise. Simply put, when booking with Costa, shame on me for not doing research; I was unaware I was booking with the European version of Celebrity Cruises! Upon onboard it, our first impression was that the Costa ...

We will never cruise with MSC again!

Review for a Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Orchestra

We had hoped MSC might be a good alternative cruise line, after dozens of cruise with others. IT IS NOT. The ship was lovely and accommodations fine, but there is simply NO service on the ship. Staff were untrained in basics (like where the knife and fork go on the table, for instance). Staff were uninterested in helping passengers in any way. Food was terrible, meager and boring...and they ...

Horrible ! NEVER AGAIN

Ship is old but OK, Service is very good, polite, helpfull... Cabin could be better. Excursions are very expensive and not good organised, to get on and off the boat it is a war, a fight to be the first ! Dining is like a hundreds of hungry pigs doing a hold-up on the buffet! The theme restaurants are better for the service, food is as bad as in the self service. Once I had risotto with St Jacobs ...
