We initially chose this cruise due to the price combined with the itinerary. I really didn’t want to add another cruise this year because we have traveled quite a bit and we have more on the books, but this seemed too good to pass up. We really enjoyed this ship. Chose this cruise for the itinerary. Hadn't sailed on Carnival for decades but was pleasantly surprised. The ship itself was in drydock for a month prior to sailing and looked great.

Initially chose this cruise as my very elderly parents needed a holiday and flying was out of the question. Found the staff very helpful and friendly. The cabins one of the largest I have come across at sea with a decent bathroom.

This was our 4th Carnival cruise, but the first one we've taken in Europe. Embarkation went well, although the coach transfer from London to Dover, which we purchased from Carnival, departed 50 minutes late. We had hoped to get to Dover with time to explore before departure, but the coach got there too late.

The ship is old, so you do need to overlook the wear and tear, but the smaller size is nice.
First the bad--
1) Embarkation was the biggest mess I have ever seen-- all the tour buses came at the same time, there was no plan and we stood outside in the cold for several hours A HUGE mess. Started the trip on a bad note.

We chose this Disney Cruise because of the itinerary and the opportunity to take advantage of a seldom-offered good rate by this company. Traveling as two adults, we were not overly interested in the character greetings etc. but it was charming nonetheless. This may take a while. There were so many great things to mention. Disney is great with details. From the "Mickey" shaped face for my daughters ketchup, to the Disney themed menu each night, they really do a great job at providing those little extras in everything they do.
