DW and I are testing the waters for later in life. We did our first cruise ever on RC in Feb and this was our chance to see how Carnival was in comparison.
We did an inside cabin to keep it simple. Took the drink package, did 1 excursion, and some limited extra dining (steakhouse and Cucina).
Two things really jumped out at us between the 2 lines:
The party rarely even pauses on ...
This is our third time on the Breeze. Normally, I enjoy her. Good ship with great staff. The people on friendly. I still had a good time, but this was my least favorite Breeze cruise. First, I got sick with a stomach bug or food poisoning the first sea day. Then the ship was as full as I have ever seen a ship. Too full. It was on the Easter weekend and was PACKED. PACKED. I went on the ...
Overall a wonderful experience for a first time cruiser. Check in process is very good with facial recognition. Open theater with the pool was a nice experience. Third floor guest services were very friendly and photo representatives are present throughout the ship available if u r interested. Daily dine in dinner experience was one of the best. They are very friendly and polite. Anytime we need ...
I have sailed with Carnival several times over the past 10 years and have always enjoyed my trips. It just seems to me that the quality of the food as well as the service has decreased over that time. I would describe the food on this last trip as Ok. We did not have a bad meal on this trip, but the food was just OK. We did have some very friendly crew members provide us with a great experience, ...
We were so excited for this cruise since we hadn’t been on one since 2019 (which was on the Breeze). Embarkation was a breeze (no pun intended). Our stateroom was fine. Everything worked + our Steward was attentive. We enjoyed our excursions + the final comedy show in the Ovaiton theater. Now to what was BAD: the food + sanitation!
We should’ve known the food would be terrible when we saw the ...
First cruise with my family. I will start with the food, the buffet food no taste at all. It look like the 70's vibes, need to update. The only good spot was the Guy's Burger, housekeeping was great Ari was super sweet and attentive to all our needs. The crew director Dustin kept us on our feet :) his crew was great love the show Flick saw it twice. Shows were great. Our excursion wish they were ...
I booked this cruise for my husband’s birthday. It was his first cruise/time out of the country. Arriving and embarking onto the ship was an easy process. Our first real problem encountered was in our assigned dining room. I ordered the chicken breast which came with potatoes, the potatoes were so undercooked I could not even cut them. We ate there twice and gave up. Breakfast in the marketplace ...
Boarding was very organized and accomplished with no problems. Disembarking was a nightmare. We were sent to a deck to stand in the hallway with no seating, even for disabled. Food was average but care of the room was much less than usual, as we only saw our room steward 3 times total. We had asked for a bucket of ice on the first day and finally received it on day three. We thought maybe Breeze ...
This was our first post covid cruise. We last sailed on the breeze and it was still great. Embarkation was ok- didnt recall all the steps.. Once onboard we went to the casino bar. Sheila was very friendly! We could only get one drink between us both until we did muster. WHICH was amazing- love the new method. We mostly hung in the casino.. didnt watch any shows. We did watch a lot of live ...
Sailed on the Carnival Breeze January 16-21
We chose this cruise kind of last minute since our cruise was cancelled at the beginning of the pandemic. My wife and I just celebrated our 20th anniversary so we took this opportunity to sail without our kids. We let the cruise line pick out room. We were assigned 7237, which is in the front of the ship but unfortunately right above the theater so ...
