We chose this cruise as our third week of cruising after being on Holland America's Nieuw Statendam docked right next to Edge. At the end of this write-up we will give a comparison of Nieuw Statendam to Edge. This was cruise number 48 for us, still keeping Celebrity as the most frequently cruised, while trying many other lines, the years.. Easy and earlier embarkation, which allowed us to stow ...

Let me start with the Celebrity brand. Always at the top, great cruise line. I have many Celebrity cruises under my belt and being a Travel agency owner I had to try out the new Celebrity Edge to see if the reviews were valid. I am a forgiving traveler and try to give the benefit of doubt to the cruise line. Embarkation and disembarkation were better than expected. Easy on, easy off. The ship ...

A lot of things can be improved but overall a great ship! The steak house was awful FYI. IV ROOMS are not cracked out to what they make them as you seem your in a bubble without the air. Sometimes they do lock them which I get but lame. Entertainment could have been better with more activities. Service at pool was not the greatest with people walking around and the bar. Lot of wasted space. Feels ...

First time on a Cruise Ship and it was unbelievable!

The ship was beautiful and we loved the restaurants and the decor as well as the service was top notch. I have been and stay a large number a great places but I am not sure I have ever received better customer service. Everyone was very friendly and they were always willing to go the extra mile. Everything was very clean and workers were always busy "polishing the brass". I would not hesitate ...

The Good: Room Steward did a great job. New ship. Clean and bright. Theatre: Dance group was very good, as well as the magician. America's Test Kitchen. Veteran get together. Nice Shower. The Average: New musical theme. Music piped in everywhere. Not a quiet public place on the ship as they don't have a dedicated library. If you like noise=great. No chairs on the ...

We are quite loyal to HAL (4-Star Mariners) and wanted to go on their newest ship. We also liked this particular itinerary. Our back aft suite was wonderful. I gave dining five stars ... but we only eat in the Pinnacle (and once in Tamarind) so can't say much about the dining room. The Pinnacle has added new items to their menu which were wonderful. Finally, they changed up their ...

2nd time on this ship. It was great. Western and Eastern Caribbean. Both 7 day sections had an age range from mid 30's to mid 60's. Not the kind of ship for under 18, not much to do for that age range. But plenty to do for everyone else. You can hide yourself in total isolation away from crowds to submerging into non stop activities. Anytime Dining was rarely a wait, the Horizon Court ...

Friends had planned their vacation and invited us along...We would go again in a heart beat. Our room was clean, we were catered to, there was plenty of food and so many choices. The staff made us feel catered to. Our cabin person PuTu was awesome!!! He brought us what ever we needed, answered our questions and kept us informed. PuTu was funny, sweet and so very accommodating. His customer ...

Overall it was a great cruise. The weather was almost perfect and I haven't had a bad cruise yet. The ship's crew did a great job and the food was good. I think NCL does have a better food selection in their buffet but I always found more than enough to eat. I had my son and granddaughter with me and they enjoyed their cruise too. My only real gripe came after the cruise. I was ...

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Caribbean Princess

This was our fifth cruise with Princess, so we were familiar with this cruise line. We have cruised with three other cruise lines, including Celebrity. We were looking for a two week cruise in the Caribbean, and there weren't a lot of options. That's why we booked this cruise, which was sold as a single cruise, but was really two one week cruises: one week in the western Caribbean, then back to ...
