Not My Best Cruise Experience

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

We were so excited for our stay on an "upper scale" cruise line! Stayed in Aquaclass. Where were our towel animals? Where was our stateroom attendants? We never set eyes on him until we were leaving! We asked for ice to chill our wine in the bucket provided in our stateroom, and was brought a small cup, so we asked for more, and never received. The one show we did watch was a not-so-funny ...

My wife and I were in Florida for the month of January celebrating my retirement. We found this 2 night cruise and thought it would be a great way to end the month. We had been on 9 Royal Caribbean cruises and had been told Celebrity is a step up when it comes to cruising. Well, I would not recommend Celebrity to anyone. I am grateful it was only 2 nights as any longer would have really been ...

If you are thinking about booking a cruise with Celebrity, I suggest you look at Holland America line or some of the all-inclusive cruise lines like Azamara, Silverseas, etc. You'll probably snare a better value. This isn't so much a review of the Constellation, which is a very nice ship, as it's a review of Celebrity management's policies. The prices for beverage packages, drinks, shore ...

We picked Celebrity because we heard it was a good cruise line. We were disappointed. The good: very nice room and outstanding service. The employees we came across were top notch and very pleasant. The bad: No cold milk on the cruise, the dispenser is not insulated and the milk gets warm quick. The buffet food is the same (pretty bland) all the time. On a short cruise that shouldn't ...

Very Disappointed with Constellation

We are experienced cruisers and have elite status with Princess, Royal Caribbean, and Celebrity. We have always recommended Celebrity as the best cruise liner to everyone. It had been 5 years since we've cruised on Celebrity. We've mainly used Princess and Royal Caribbean. We were expecting excellent service, activities and food. We were shocked at how much Celebrity had changed. We ...

My first time with Celebrity but 6th cruise overall. I have to say with comparison with Carnival I'd actually chose Carnival next time. My 5 experiences on Carnival have been better than Celebrity. Here's the breakdown. Food and service: Service and attitudes stunk on Celebrity Constellation. Saw 3 arguments right in front of me between employees. They were not happy to be working this ...

Do not take a cruise during spring break unless you are a college student

This was my 10th cruising experience. My husband, myself and our 18 yo son went on this cruise this past month. The ports were awesome and weather great. Celebrity had sold 900 of the 2100 tickets to spring breakers, most from FL schools. It turned out to be students from frats and sororities from FL colleges. The entire ship became party for the spring breakers. The dining room was full of ...

We took a ten day cruise on the Celebrity Constellation out of Ft. Lauderdale to St. Maartin, Guadalupe, and St. Barth's in February of 2015. The ship also stopped at the company-owned island in the Bahamas. We had been on the same ship for a 15-day cruise to Hawaii in and out of San Diego several years ago. We'd also been on a Celebrity ship one 17-day cruise around the Horn several years prior ...

Worst Cruise We Have Taken!

Best of this cruise: 1. Arrival at port and boarding went very well, and we were pleased with the process. Likewise leaving the ship on the last day went well, and we had no problem finding our luggage. 2. Our room stewards were good, and we had no issues with them at all. They were very helpful, and polite, greeting us every time we met them in the hallway. All of the staff seemed eager to ...

I love a cruise but disappointed in Celebrity

We went with Royal Caribbean on our last cruise and the cruise was great! This cruise by comparison disappointed big time. First, they lost our bags so we had no change of clothes or toiletries until late in the evening. Next time I think I take the bags on myself if possible. The guy who cleaned our room who was very nice apologise but nothing offered for the inconvenience. Second, they messed ...
