Worst Cruise I've Ever Been On - Do Not Book This Ship

Review for a Transatlantic Cruise on Island Princess

I booked this cruise because it went to Iceland. Little did I know that it was an "old" ship that had a myriad of problems and a staff that was clearly not putting the guest first. I've never been under house arrest, but I expect this was pretty close - wearing the tracking device, having no say in anything and having to just shut up and put up. From noise that kept me up at night (got my ...

The WORST Most expensive 13 day cruise!

I chose this cruise for the itinerary, and to get out of the Florida.. the first stop, Norfolk, Va was oppresively hot , and if you had already been to Williamsburg, a waste of time.. the excursions are exhorbitantl The food in the dining room was the absolute worst, the cheapest cuts of meat, not prepared well... also, the smallest portions ,,, mashed potatoes , never baked potatoes, a ...

Great itinerary, starting in Ft. Lauderdale and on up the east coast of the US stopping at New York, Boston, Bar Harbor and into Canada terminating in Quebec City. Traveling to the embarkation point in Ft. Lauderdale was easy, the baggage handlers did a marvelous job during the embarkation process. They made it easy for the passengers. All required documentation, of which there was quite a bit ...

Worst cruise ever

Total chaos in dining room every nite. Reservation app didn’t work- reservations changed on us with no notice- total mess! Food mediocre at best. Room service hit & miss on whether you would actually get orders. No safe in room for valuables, broken down bed had to be replaced. New carpet shedded horribly all over clothes ea day. No vacuuming allowed to keep it under control due to hundreds ...

Very disappointed in Princess

I took this cruise because of the itinerary. I have been on Princess cruises before but I doubt I will sail on Princess again. They have cut corners so it isn't the joy of cruising it use to be. The food is very low quality. The steak knifes couldn't even cut the steak. The food selections were unappetizing. Dinner in the dining room took 2 hours very night and we would have to leave ...

We have sailed with Princess a number of times, but had a very bad experience two years ago. We decided to give them another chance as the itinerary appealed to us. We won’t travel with them again, and our fellow passengers that we spoke with also felt very let down. Their cost cutting attempts affect all parts of the overall experience from having nothing to stir your coffee with, to reducing ...

We paid for a large suite and were extremely disappointed, as all advertising material said that in Club Class we would enjoy an upscale menu. All regular dinning venues had through the ship had the menu, but we were offered ONE additional appetizer & entree per night. Could not believe that when ever the ship was docked all dinning venues are closed with the exception of the buffet We did ...

We have cruised over 30 times, but this was our first on HA. I had wanted to try HA, but had heard several times that they were boring. I wish I had listened. Since HA has so many good itineraries, we decided to give it a try on this 10N to NE/Canada. We booked about 2 weeks ahead and got a good price. Embarkation in FLL was a breeze and the easiest we have ever experienced. We booked an ...

Choose cruise because the iteniary was interesting with stops in NYC, Newfoundland and Ireland. Ship is very lovely but the food services are TERRIBLE. The food preparation, service (never hot in serving temperature), quality and selection of food venues is the worst of any of my over 1000 sailing days on various lines. Basically only 2 inside restaurant choices for lunch daily. Both serving ...
