Return journey from New York 18 days round trip ,the pinnacle being a half day tour of New York , but only got only 23 minutes in the Big Apple. If I wanted 18 days non stop at sea would have joined the Merchant Navy.
After leaving New York on our MINI expedition made our way to Brooklyn Harbour to board the QM2 , no problems here swift embarkation & check in.

We crossed the Atlantic from New York. Our 4th cruise on QM2 and it did not disappoint. QM2 never lets you down.
The balcony cabin, close to mid-ship was superb with a bottle of wine waiting for us as we are Platinum members. Freshly laundered robes, shampoos etc supplied, chocolate on pillow every night. Very adequate shower. Comfortable King size bed. Coffee and tea making facilities. ...

This was our tenth crossing on the QM2 and our 25th cruise overall. We return to the QM2 because it is an ocean liner and because we love many of the beautiful public rooms such as the Chart Room, the Commodore Club, the Britannia restaurant, and the library. We find plenty to do and prefer crossing on the QM2 to air travel over the Atlantic.

For a 150,000 tons size with only 3,000 passengers onboard, you will never feel over crowded on that ship. Its the most stable ship for people who are prone to motion sickness. Staff smile and greet us every time. Top notch service, food, and space.

The Queen Mary 2 is a magnificent ship, our cabin and steward was wonderful. The late embarkation was quick and easy except that some ships elevators were not working, which was a common problem throughout the cruise.

WE chose this ship because of the ballroom dancing, so many other ships have discontinued this activity. The dance floor is large, there is an Orchestra and a vocalist, every night at 9:30 PM, and over a 2 week period there were 4 Tea dances. This is a little late in the evening for older people, but we adjusted our internal clocks and did it.

We were on the Queen Mary for a New England-Canada 14 day cruise on September 22-October 6th. We were in a princess suite cabin 10010. The first thing you need to know is that Cunard ships are definitely Class ships. That means that the better the cabin or suite the better the food and service you will receive.

I chose this round trip crossing because I wanted to enjoy the ship and not get on and off everyday. It was just great! There was plenty to do everyday if you wished.
