They have removed all the stylish features that made Celebrity so splendid in the past! No barber shop quartet No string quartet No harpist No pianist No card room No cinema Very poor speakers All that is left are the revenue raising talks, auctions, gambling, drinking Celebrity shame on you. You have lowered your standards to worse than awful. And you were once one of ...

Celebrity Constellation Cruise – Turkey, Greece, Croatia – 12 days This cruise was awful. The room was not up-to-date very old décor, most likely just repainted. No entertainment for cruise days, food was the same breakfast, lunch and dinner, tasteless. There was a 24-hour coffee but only one station opened and sometimes the coffee was cold or not made or no milk, cream and cups. Also the ...

This was about my 50th cruise 3rd with Celebrity, what a total waste of time and money, all of the content is in my opinion and not aimed to be slanderous in any way, this review is factual and was what experienced by my wife and our three children. Firstly our day in Istanbul was cancelled due to security risks!! poppy cock and the incident happened in Izmir some 50 miles away, would Celebrity ...

How low can Celebrity standards go?

We cruised for two weeks from Istanbul to Barcelona on 24th August. We were surprised at how Celebrity standards had slipped since we last cruised with them. We had a novovirus outbreak for the entire cruise but communication was bad and we had to rely on rumour which suggested there were up to 450 cases. Plates were dirty, cups were chipped and cracked and service was more akin to a Greek ferry. ...

Worst Cruise I've Ever Been On!

I have taken 25 cruises in my lifetime– about 1.5 a year since birth– and I had traveled with Celebrity about 10 years ago. I hated that cruise, and decided that I would try it again considering they have significantly improved. Well... that was a mistake. I would trade the $3000 we spent on this cruise for a $1000 Carnival cruise in a heartbeat because of how terrible it was! First, this ship is ...

Review for a Europe - Black Sea Cruise on Celebrity Constellation

We had long anticipated a return visit to Black Sea ports, hoping to see the way Ukraine is moving forward, and to enjoy a repeat of previous good Celebrity experience. We were to be in for a deeply disappointing experience. On early arrival at the port , as advised a few days beforehand, we found long queues, and staff waving pieces of paper advising embarkation would be delayed by at leat 4 ...

What a disappointment

This was my first sea cruise. I was really excited to do it because of the Black Sea destinations and the rave reviews I'd read about small ships in general and Celebrity in particular. But, after 12 days of constant, overpriced 'up-selling' of everything, and nothing in the way of creating community among the other cruisers I realize I was just on an expensive floating hotel, and not a very good ...

My wife and I retired at age 49. We have been cruising ever since then and usually make 2 or 3 24+ day getaways a year. We have cruised all lines. In the past 10 years, we have done about 30 cruises, most of which were 12 nights or longer. We generally book our own air on Delta, using miles when possible, as I am almost a double million miler. We stay at Starwood Hotels, as we are Platinum in ...
