This was about my 50th cruise 3rd with Celebrity, what a total waste of time and money, all of the content is in my opinion and not aimed to be slanderous in any way, this review is factual and was what experienced by my wife and our three children.
Firstly our day in Istanbul was cancelled due to security risks!! poppy cock and the incident happened in Izmir some 50 miles away, would Celebrity cancel a cruise from Miami if there was a security scare in Orlando? no compensation offered for this very last minute alteration to the itenery, we were not allowed to go ashore after boarding at 13.00 hrs and sailing at 23.10 hrs.
Due to the day in Istanbul being cancelled the first day was spent at sea at a walking pace which was good for Celebrity as the ship became a " Cash Cow " for the cruise line.
