This is the second time we cruised Celebrity Reflection, since it was new (October 2012) when we spent two weeks on this cruise on Mediterranean. Our 11- day cruise this time was better since there was not a repeat of meals and shows during the 11 days. The ship has aged well but it was in good shape. The toilet bowl showed black sign in some rooms.
This was our third cruise with Celebrity (2 ...
A sister ship of the Equinox which I also cruised a few years ago, I has excited to revisit this class of ship.
We were on the 11 night Med cruise out of Rome to Sicily, Greece, Turkey and returning to Rome. Very excited as it was our first Med cruise and never been to turkey or Greece before.
The Ship is around 10 years old and has not had a major refurb yet (but is due to soon). Overall ...
we had a great trip, enjoyed Italy, the Greek islands and turkey. got to spend three days in Rome before cruise, amazing sites the Vatican is a must in my opinion. we did the private before open to public tour with breakfast in the pine cone courtyard. Time well spent before the crowds! we used Rome Chauffeur from airport to Double Tree, to Port and back to airport, they were awesome, on time all ...
Celebrity Cruises has been my go-to cruise line for the past 14 cruises or so. I find the service level, the dining experiences, the ambiance on the ships and the progressive and contemporary feeling of the cruise line to be most appealing to me.
This time I sas traveling with friends in a small group of four. Three guys in our mid 30's and one lady in her prime age turning 60 during the ...
We have sailed Celebrity just once (but have sailed with various other lines) and much prefer X. We were so ready after working all through the pandemic (not WFH) and we were, on the whole, not disappointed.
Veranda cabin (deck 6) was great, but both felt there was a lack of storage, particularly drawers. Meticulously looked after by our cabin steward.
MDR - tables for two are hard to come ...
We selected this cruise to be our first post-Covid Med region vacation (after a cancellation in 2021). Attractive itinerary starting from Civitavecchia IT (round trip) with visits to Greece, Croatia, and Montenegro over 10-days. At the time of the departure, some Covid protocols were still in place including the pre-cruise tests, and testing required for return flight to US. The return test ...
Well that was a a blast. Thankyou Celebrity for another wonderful cruise. Loved every minute of it.
Got onboard at Rome, with no issues regarding covid passes etc. EASY. Very quick, and no issues.
Straight to cabin on Deck 11. Beat our cases so went for a beer.
Weather was marvellous.
Booked Aqua class, so were in Blu Restaurant.......probably my one ...
Chose this for the Eastern Mediterranean itinerary. The itinerary did NOT disappoint and it was everything we had hoped it would be.
LIKES:
*The Captain and crew
*Dining - Food in the MDR ranged from very good to excellent on a few nights.
*Service - Excellent service from our Cabin Steward, Richard. Best steward we have had so far. Dining servers at Table 144 each evening pretty ...
Most of our 15 (or so) cruises have been in mini-suites. Club Continent Suite on Azamara, Sky Suite on Celebrity, Concierge level on Oceania, but a full suite on Holland America and a basic verandah on Norwegian.
The typical review of a suite versus a verandah cabin focuses on cabin size and perks compared to cost. In our experience and that of similar travelers that we have met, this misses ...
I love Celebrity especially the Reflection but I opted in for what I thought was an upgrade and ended up in a noisy, clanging, rumbling, vibrating room! Room 7107- family veranda. And insult to injury-I paid for the upgrade! Every docking and departure created this other worldly ungodly racket. It was the anchor and every other contraption used to secure the ship to its spot. The first time I ...
