Celebrity Cruises has been my go-to cruise line for the past 14 cruises or so. I find the service level, the dining experiences, the ambiance on the ships and the progressive and contemporary feeling of the cruise line to be most appealing to me.
This time I sas traveling with friends in a small group of four. Three guys in our mid 30's and one lady in her prime age turning 60 during the cruise.
One of my main goals when traveling with friends and family is to make their journey and experience as smooth as possible and Celebrity Reflection did really help out this time.
Stateroom 1533
Great stateroom! We really enjoyed everything. Locatin is perfect, the corridor outside is usually very calm. Close to the forward staircase and elevators. Close to the gym and Persian garden. No noice at all from the floors above since there are only treatment rooms above on deck 12.
Beautiful Island. we did a hop-on-hop-of tour (independent), had a swim in the sea and enjoyed a great lunch in Old Corfu town.
Dubrovnik is truly amazing! The best part must be the wonderful place to go for a swim just outside the harbour in the old town.
Livorno is not my favourite port of call. To much of a industiral-port-port. And going on a expensive excursion to Florence with a two hour bus drive each way didn't appeal to us this time.
Beautiful little village and a great beach just by the pier.
Kotor is really beautiful! The fjord and surroundings are amazing. I can really recommend to go on a hike up to the old fortress. Simply WOW!
Naples is a really busy and intense town. We had some great pizza, almost got robbed, got an invitation to join a strange man on his vespa to go for "some pasta and naughty stuff". The city is really vibrant, smelly, intense, beautiful and ugly. It can really be a hit or miss depending on wht direction you decide to walk.
Taormina is a beutiful secilian gem. We really enjoyed the lazy city, had a great lunch and dit a ride on one of those tourist trains.
