Carnival Vancouver Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

First let me apologize for missing the Meet and Mingle. I’m legally blind, and did not see it in the Fun Times. Overall, the Cruise was great! My hubby, Guide Dog, Chuck, and I boarded the ship in Vancouver, Canada,. We had no problems doing this. The only thing I would change here if I could, the rooms were blocked off till 1:30. On past ships, we have been able to find our room, if it was ...

We have wanted to do a Hawaiian. Getting on the ship in Vancouver was nice and easy. We sailed on time and always arrived to our port early. The ship itself is in need for refurbishment right away. It seems like it's overdue for one for about 2/3 years ago. The ship is unique and has its own beauty. I did live all the granite and marble just not all the vases or whatever they are supposed to be. ...

Been on the legend several times. Went to Hawaii from Vancouver. Was not impressed with all the walking to get on the ship. The ship it self is very easy to get around. The food could have been better but it wasn't bad. The cruise director is good she is very entertaining and the shows weren't bad either. There was a girl at customer service desk I think her name was Katherina, she only got on ...

I've only been on 6 cruises in my life (age 63), dating back to the 1980's, including a previous Alaska cruise on the NCL Jewel in 2013 and two almost back-to-back western Caribbean trips on the NCL Jade in 2016. I picked this cruise for the following reasons: 1) left from Vancouver and returned to Seattle, 2) the extra day, and 3) great price. I highly recommend the Hampton Inn and Suites in ...

The undercover, secret menu was very good...the other food was so so

The crew was very pleasant. We discovered the "undercover" secret menu that the dining room keeps hidden away. This way.....your food is not mass produced. Just have to order it a day in advance at the dining room check in podium. Way better than the regular menu. I learned about this from another cruise critic member. The casino was average. The cabin was average. the ship was clean. ...

Relaxing, but Some Disappointments

Review for a Hawaii Cruise on Carnival Legend

I chose the cruise because I have never been to Hawaii and the repositioning cruise seemed like a great way to go. Embarkation & disembarkation was smooth. I have no problem with the ship; I have sailed on the Legend before and the cabins are about the same on all Carnival ships. The trip was very easy going with 5 sea days to relax and there were many activities going on. I had two ...

My son, his wife and 2 children and I went on the Carnival Legend out of Vancouver to Alaska in May. This was my 2nd cruise to Alaska, and because I was paying for both rooms, I chose to go with a less expensive cruise line. (last cruise to Alaska was with Princess) I was surprised how much I enjoyed this cruise. The staff far exceeded any expectations I had. They were awesome, friendly, ...

Only a mini-review We returned to Florida last night, (May 25, 2016), after spending an extra day in Seattle. My wife and I both agree that the "Alaska" portion of the cruise was completely excellent. It was everything you would expect it to be and more. We have a ton of memories from each port and from all 4 of our excursions. Of particular interest to us was the stop in Skagway. We can ...

We booked this for a "cheap & cheerful" break, and after reading criticisms of this ship we were pleasantly surprised. Embarkation was quick and easy, less than half an hour from luggage pick-up through security, US customs, check in and on board. Met by welcome personnel on board to answer any questions. Ship is dies not quite have the luxury finish of Cunard or as pristine as HAL but ...
