The main reason for choosing this cruise was the length and itinerary. What we ended up finding were some nice upgrades to the Glory and fresh activities which included the long lost midnight buffet. If your vacation experience must include tablecloths and decorative pats of butter in the main. Dining hall, you may find yourself disappointed. We are more relaxed with this sort of stuff. ...

This was the seventh cruise for my wife and I and our sixth with Carnival. We traveled with two other couples (one couple were first time cruisers and the other couple had been on a Princess cruise). This was our 9th Carnival cruise and was really wonderful. We flew in a day early to San Juan for this journeys cruise. We stayed at the Hotel Milano located in Old San Juan, nice price, excellent location. Headed out to the ship around 11 am, we were through checkin and onboard in less than 10 minutes from arriving to the port.

Stayed one night prior to cruise in San Juan, Puerto Rico at the El Canario Lagoon hotel. It was a budget hotel and worth the price. Nice, clean, no frills hotel. This was my DW and my 4th cruise and 3rd with Carnival. My wife picked this cruise because of the itinerary and I'm glad she did, as we thoroughly enjoyed all of the ports!

We have cruised several times on Carnival, but this is our first cruise on Liberty and from San Juan. We stayed couple nights in San Juan before boarding the ship and we had great time touring and eating in old San Juan.
Embarkation was slow, rough and lacked organization or disciplines. Disembarkation was a chaos that lasted for over 2 hours. This was the only bad part of the trip.

I really enjoyed this ship. Boarding was easy in San Juan, the room was ready when we arrived (usually you have to wait hours), luggage came before dinner. The staff friendly and welcoming. We landed in San Juan at 12:20 and got a taxi to port for less then Carnival transfer. Bags were tagged and taken away. We were on the ship eating fish and chips by 1:30. Ship is vary clean and service is great..
