Internet Issues- OKAY Cruise
"I would say the internet seemed good (as far as speed, jitter, and packet loss) for most things people would do.Even though the ship was recently refurbished, the standard balcony bathroom still had the old green sink...."Read More

I did two connected cruises, first a Panama Canal Transit and second a full ship charter with Bare Necessities Tour and Travel to the Western Caribbean. The Pride has been refurbished, mainly public area's. Fitness centre is very good, light and modern now. I love the size of the ship. It can hold approx 2000 guests and that is just OK for me. Big enough for the entertainment and small enough for ...

It is always good to be a sea. Here are a few things I wish I knew on this cruise. PARKING. Its been a few years (and maybe 40 cruises ago) we sailed out of Tampa. Thankfully we were close enough to drive. Frankly it is a bit confusing because the lots near the ship are not ship parking, they are for the aquarium. Do not attempt to park near the ship. The ship parking is a 4 story ...

Overall a good experience for our 65th wedding anniversary ! We had some concerns regarding accessibility since both wife and I using walkers, but had no problem boarding or onboard. Boarding assistance was amazing. Boarding we were taken to elevator at our room, disembarking taken to curb with our luggage Folding walkers to move in and out of cabin was bothersome but there was plenty of room ...

Selected this cruise based on a great casino rate & perks plus port within an hour of our home. The ship is showing some signs of its age and in need of some refurbishing but it was clean, had a fun casino, plenty of dining options and chill vibe. All of the staff no matter which bar, passing them in a hall/lobby were friendly. All of the bars were fantastic but during the day, we never left the ...

Carnival’s quality has suffered!

Strange behavior from my room steward…???!!! First, For some reason he thinks I need 10 rolls of toilet paper at any given time. Second, he got angry that the tucked my top sheet in under the mattress at the foot of the bed, so now he only provides a top sheet that goes as far as my waist, making it impossible to tuck in properly. If I tucked it in it would go from the foot of the bed to my knees. ...

My wife and I characterize ourselves as seasoned cruisers having been on over 15 of them over the years. We took a few years off but now that we retired, we're back at sea. The cruise left Tampa on a Saturday and arrived back eight days later on a Sunday. We had taken advantage of a great casino promo code linked to our VIFP accounts and got an obstructed view balcony and a fair amount of ...

Just returned from a 7-day Caribbean cruise on Carnival Pride, out of Tampa, FL. This was our first cruise since Covid, and it was so nice to be out and about again! In most areas of the ship, masks were required but the majority of passengers wore them wrong (below the nose) or wore them sporadically. Don't count on other people's compliance with mask mandates to keep you from getting Covid; ...

Wow, the check in process is soooo much better now! Well done! This was our second time on the Pride and 12th Carnival cruise, this was the first cruise back for the Pride since the Covid Pandemic. The food and service were sub par compared to prior to the pandemic. It did improve day by day. Wearing a mask was not fun but made it work. The ship and destinations were still top notch although ...

This was the first cruise back since Covid started. We Were on the last cruise from Baltimore. The cruise personnel were fantastic. They appear to be REALY happy to be on board and excited to see us. Several of the crew even recognized us an went out of their way to personally welcome us back. The embarkation went smoothly. There were a few changes to the procedure such as no mass safety ...
