1-10 of 1,238 Carnival Pride Cruise Reviews for Family Cruises to the Caribbean
OMG, We booked cruise with two other couples who had picked the port near where they live, tampa. At the time I was very excited to go since we had not been on a cruise since Jan 2020. I had read a few reviews before hand, it was noted that the ship was upgraded in 2019. Well, not sure what was upgrade ( added the slides??) We were on the Empress deck with a balcony, the first thing we notice our ...

We started our vacation on the morning of April 18th when we stepped into the cruise terminal in Tampa. Check-in was quick and easy, but then we had everything we needed to make it quick and ...
Transfer from Airport to Cruise ship:
- They had us waiting 1.5 hours before finally getting us there and some of the staff was starting to make comments about not making it on the cruise. Next time I will do Uber from Airport to Cruise terminal.
Embarkation: Since we were so late, we got right on and had no lines. I used the Verifly app they suggested before hand to get all the Covid stuff ...
This was the worst cruise my wife and I were on from a dirty ship to cold food we asked our room steward twice for a mattress cover and never got it the only good food was in the steak house, which you hD to pay for. The entertainment was not even third rate. You could not even get orange juice after 10am when we got back we sent a letter to the customer relations department, and they were supposed ...
The cruise was made amazing by the friendly and wonderful crew. Everyone from the folks washing the windows to the Maitre D at the restaurant greeted us with a smile and a hello. Three people really stood out:
Ravi in the Alchemy Bar who could come up with the most amazing drinks - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic!
Our room steward Eka, who gave us service above and beyond what we expected. ...
My wife and I were recently fortunate to be able to spend 14 nights in February on the Carnival Pride stopping at many Caribbean ports. We had a great time, and I would like to share some of our observations. First, the boarding process during Covid. We were expected to be tested two days before departure, plus bring our vaccination cards. In addition, we were retested in the terminal before ...
Every night and sometimes through the day I would go and play the tables in the casino. Everyone was nice but Helber’s hospitality was exceptional. He took the time to explain any game he was the dealer at. The patience he had was phenomenal. It was a pleasant experience. The room was great, along with Kay the waiter the dancing he did put a smile on everyone’s face. Definitely a better ...
After 23 months, I was so ready to get back out on the open seas. Had never been on the Pride, but had been on one of her sister ships. So I was familiar with the ship’s layout. Easy to navigate. Glad that we could walk through the casino without having to smell cigarette smoke.
I only ate in the MDR for breakfast. Two of the days were for Seaday brunch. Service was excellent and attentive. ...
This is my 17th Carnival Cruise Line cruise and fourth on the Carnival Pride which used to sail from Baltimore, MD, now it sails out of Tampa FL. Embarkment was a little slow going due to a lack of wheelchair pushers for my wife, once we did get on we went to the Lido deck for their buffet. The food offerings at the embarkment buffet had limited offerings and I would have to rate the variety ...
My wife and I took this cruise to celebrate my 69th birthday. It was anything but the stress free experience we anticipated. We were surprised upon lining up to embark with the announcement that we had to have a covid test prior to boarding, despite the fact that we were both fully vaccinated. Had they told us beforehand this was needed, we could have gotten one free at our local CVS, as we're ...
